From The
Pastor's Pen

As Pastor of the Mt Zion Baptist Church, I extend to you our
sincere thanks for the time executed in browsing our church web
page.
Our church is located on 103 Mt Zion
Drive, highway 418, Fountain Inn, South Carolina. This permanent
location was established some one hundred plus years. It has
weathered the storms and continues to be a united church of
Christ. She stands on a beacon of hope for any and everyone.
Our desire and goal is:
Helping those who are lost to find a haven of SAFETY
Helping those who are cold and shivering from the worlds cruel
and abusive ways to find WARMTH
Helping those who are tired and worn to find Christ and become
REFRESHED.
We hope, as you explore this web page, you will find an
interest in the various ministries organizations and activities.
Our ultimate goal is
to present opportunities for Christian growth by developing the
whole person.
Our motto: Reaching the Lost; Teaching the Found.
The found becomes evident through teaching and preaching
God's word through the ministries of our church.
As pastor, I really appreciate the cooperation of the members in
developing ways to activate our motto. It is through a united
effort of concern for people that we are able to do this. God
has blessed us with great Christian talent through our members.
The Mt Zion Baptist church family
divinely gives God thanks and praise for blessings we receive.
As we come to recognize and realize that our gifts and blessings
of praise are not about us but always about Him.
If it is your desire and God's providence to unite with us in
promoting God's kingdom, we welcome you with open arms and
sincere hearts.
We truly believe that WHEN THE WORK
OF GOD is performed by his people THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD, we
will EXPERIENCE THE WONDERS OF GOD.
For your taking the
time to read this web page, my prayer is: May God bless you and
give you the strength to praise Him, the Wisdom to Serve Him and
the Courage to Proclaim Him.
In Christ We all Stand United.
